Obituary for Fannie Hudson Tyree

Fannie Loving Hudson Tyree, 78, of Gladstone passed away, Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Fairmont Crossing, Amherst.

Born in Lynchburg, May 14, 1941, Mrs. Tyree was the daughter of the late, Ernest Hudson and Mary Fannie Coffey Hudson. She was retired as a supervisor with Courtland Manufacturing and was a member of Monroe Church of God.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William M. Tyree; sister, Alice Dutton; brother Ernest Lee “Hut” Hudson, Jr. ; and grandson, Matthew Tyree.

She is survived by two daughters: Faye Tyree (Bradley) of Gladstone and Debbie Tyree of Amherst; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Tyree of Gladstone; brother, Joe Hudson of Orange County; five grandchildren: Penny L. Austin, Brandon J. Tyree, Amanda R. Moore (Sam), Kadijha Parrish and Hunter Parrish; great-grandchildren: Matthew B. Austin, Jacob B. Austin, Shawn A. Moore, Kylee Tyree, Brantlee Tyree, Cole Tyree, Jassiah Portte, and Jezlen Parrish; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Monroe Church of God with Pastor James Witten officiating. A committal service with inurnment will follow in the Tyree Family Cemetery, Gladstone.
